” JUST a THOUGHT “

How are you living your one life? Is it all you imagined, or are you living unconsciously for what you believe others want you to be or do? Do you wish you could unleash your unique spirit with the world…and embrace the full wonder of you. You have the ability to make life more abundant and worthy of tomorrow by pursuing your passion…that which keeps you up at night looking forward to tomorrow.

Simply put, we are each what we think about most and our lives will reflect it. If you believe that you have no choice but to keep doing what makes you unhappy…then you are right. If you believe that all your dreams are unreachable…then you are right. However, if you believe that you deserve more, if you believe you deserve infinite joy, if you believe you deserve abundance…and you believe it with all your being…then you are right.

I tend to avoid religious reference in my writing because I believe that it is our spiritual essence that binds mankind and specific “religious” doctrine can sometimes divide and distract us from our loving creator. However, the following Bible scriptures are appropriate messages and correspond well with the nature of this material. Moreover, they may help to illustrate the untapped power of the mind and spirit that binds our vast universe.

Romans: 12:2 “Be ye transformed by a renewing of ye mind” Or, another remarkable scripture from Mark 11:24…”Whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them” These passages imply that we must first believe in our mind as if what we desire already exists. We should create the feeling of having what it is that we desire from our thoughts now.

Today a myriad of scientific studies confirm that our thought actually creates vibrational energy and frequency. Not suprisingly, the most powerful thought frequencies measured were those of love and gratitude. Amazing isn’t it. Two thoughts that generally produce warm and fuzzy feelings in all of us have the highest frequencies. Your thought vibrations not only influence the cells throughout your body (your biochemistry functions), but also attract like energy. It’s as though you get to dial into the radio station you prefer and when you want a new sound you simply change the channel. So in simplistic terms, be very careful about what you think about most, because you may not want that in your life.

Change your beliefs, change your thoughts, and you will change your world. May you find the giving passion that ultimately leads you wealth and abundant joy. Russ

Why is it that so many people allow what they see or what others “might” be thinking to shape their lives? Why is it that some wake each day with painful feelings of despair, sadness, depression, bitterness, helplessness, hate, etc., while others wake up with intense feelings of joy, gratitude, yearning to share and help others, or eager to explore and learn?

Billions of tax dollars are taken from hard working citizens every year to fund public education, a system designed to teach and prepare young students to become productive members of society. However, when we examine the results it’s hard not to notice that something is missing. Many of the most successful and admired minds throughout history were not inspired by books or lessons from instructors, but rather a burning internal passion. Those who achieve exceptional things “believe” they can first …whether for good or bad this is their starting point.

Very little attention is given to “how we think” or how our “thinking” can be applied to whatever we desire in primary or elementary schools. If more students were to learn “how” the human mind operates, they could develop powerful and enduring belief in their abilities. Henry Ford expressed it well when he said, “whether you believe you can or you believe you cannot, either way you are right”. Another powerful passage comes from scripture and it reads, “Whatsoever ye believe, when ye pray, believe that you receive them and ye shall have them”. Mark 11:24. Or from Romans 12:2, “Be ye transformed by a renewing of the mind”. Teaching the unbounded potential of every human being, every mind, should be an integral part of every school curriculum. We need to begin early to teach students the potential in every mind .Understanding how we think and why we do what we do will help students to mature and find harmony within the world as they assimilate into a global society.

Picture a young student with a genius 200 IQ level. In most circles he or she would be considered super intelligent and capable of remarkable things. However, what if that person believed he was ugly, fat and unloved? What if as a result of those beliefs he also “felt” that others disliked him and that he was unworthy to participate in groups because of the pain and discomfort he “felt” when he was put in those situations? Do you think he would reach his full potential? Not a very good probability, right? Yet, if the same person chose to believe differently and move through his initial and temporary experiences of pain and discomfort, he would slowly develop new neural pathways in his brain. This new neural “highway” would produce constructive feelings (chemical releases to cells throughout the body) that would ultimately propel him towards his desires. This is how habits are formed.

The body is a miracle system that performs functions so interconnected and so sophisticated that even science cannot replicate the results. However, a sophisticated link between mind and the myriad of chemical interactions that follow within the body were referenced (Symbolically) by ancient scholars and scripture. Furthermore, most diseases can be linked to the complex chemical releases (peptides) that follow certain harmful emotional patterns or feelings (stress)…and these are triggered by our belief systems. Carl Jung, a great psychiatrist stated that, “What we resist persists”. So if what we think about most eventually comes to fruition, it goes to reason that when we worry and fret about past and future events, we harm our now time and our potential (future).

In contrast to the earlier example of the genius, imagine a student who seldom gets above average grades and has only an average IQ of 118. The difference being…this student was raised by parents who empowered the child with resilient and empowering self esteem. They taught the child that the world loved him, that he was gifted, that he had many great things to share with others, and that difficulty produced only challenges that would bring great opportunity on which to build, share and experience life. So, which of these persons do you think would be more apt to embrace life and experience joy and harmony in the world? Amazing isn’t it? The power of belief is extraordinary indeed, and ironically, millions of people waste their precious time living lives for others or based upon what other “might” believe. What a travesty.

Belief in every mind will form emotions that produce greatness and love or fear, despair, and loss. Take a look at the list of names below and consider what each person might have believed or believes. Think about whether or not each could have attained such fame or success without a burning desire for achieving something more, without failure, without sacrifice, or without a driving belief that they could do it… and do more. Each wanted something special, each believed they could, and each gave something to reach their passion. In the end, they did or do what others had believed or said was impossible. They all accomplished extraordinary things…and each “Believed” they could.

Abraham Lincoln
Nelson Mandela
Martin Luther King, Jr
Thomas Jefferson
Jesse Owens
Roger Bannister
Bill Gates
Timothy Berners Lee
Charles Lindberg
Mother Theresa
Gandhi
Michael Phelps
Tiger Woods
Ben Hogan
Norman Vincent Peale
Billy Graham
Winston Churchill

All of these people made a difference because they had a burning desire and resolute faith. They did not focus on limitations, but rather on developing their personal strengths. They did not listen to what others said could not be done; they believed and then manifested a life brimming with internal faith and action. Easy was never part of the equation, although “easy” is certainly a theme for producing mediocrity, depression, anxiety and failure. Developing a system to simplify is part of growth, but the value of sacrifice comes from the journey to an end result. It cannot be found in books, on pages, or in words. Accomplishing the impossible starts with a belief in mind, it is followed by intense feeling (passion), and then with action.

You see, “achieving” abundance is part of the secret to experiencing long-term joy in life. Material possessions or achievements may be sought, but that which goes into personal growth and love is what fuels human contentment. The unbounded potential of every human being, every mind, should be taught in the schools.Understanding how we think and why we do what we do will help students to mature and find harmony within the world as they assimilate into a global society.

Religious scripture, ancient wisdom and quantum science all support the conclusion that we are made entirely of energy. In fact, everything in the universe is made up of energy. Unfortunately, because we rely primarily on our eyes (visual lenses) to perceive and the brain to interpret truth or fiction, it can be difficult for people to fathom this concept. Still, it is scientifically proven that we and our world are comprised entirely of energy that vibrates at various frequencies. These frequencies operate much like a radio dial that we can adjust to change stations. Since we are energy that vibrates, we also control our vibrations based upon what we believe and the feelings manifested from those thoughts. The feelings of love, anger, joy, compassion, resentment, etc. all vibrate at different frequencies.

To construct important neural brain pathways on which your positive thoughts will flow and manifest your desired future, you should write down what you want to become and then begin reading those affirmations daily. When you read your daily affirmations you should also visualize as though you are there, or have lived each. You see, when you visualize in the mind you will go there in the body. It may seem like some voodoo gibberish, but sophisticated bio-feedback equipment used in NASA projects has proven this to be true. You must first “feel” what it is like by visualizing your affirmations or dreams (promises). Without visualizing and FEELING as if they were now, your affirmations will serve much like the space shuttle without fuel…incredible potential but not going anywhere.

Millions of people are unhappy with their present situation. They hate their job, they hate where they live, they hate their neighbors, they want more income and more money, or they want more time and freedom. For others, they already love their family, neighbors and job but never seem to have enough money to make ends meet. Still, nothing ever seems to change. It’s always the same old same old. Sound familiar?

Why is it that so many in this group will seek out change or opportunity, but never actually pull the trigger? They simply won’t take action. Why, because many of them have been conditioned to expect a guaranteed, calculated return or result. For others, it’s because they believe that they CAN’T or WON’T succeed. Heaven forbid that they might try and fail or that success might not come swiftly. Far too often people will look to others and examine whether or not they succeeded in a particular opportunity, and based on that, conclude that it won’t work for them. In either case they are always right…because THEY BELIEVE it. So let’s take a closer look at the dynamics of thought and decision, how they relate to pursuing dreams, and how they can directly influence the chances of obtaining more in life.

Whether it’s more money, better health or more love, nearly all of us want more in life, right. We want more for us and more for those we love. Unfortunately, few people take responsibility for attracting more of what they want in their lives. Most listen to what others say or if they find that more people failed than succeeded in a particular endeavor, they abandon the idea before pursing it. Ironically, some of the wealthiest, happiest, and healthiest people throughout history took the path less traveled. They refused to follow what everyone else did. Instead, they manifested (positive) thoughts to propel them towards their desires…refusing to allow the majority or opinions of others control their thoughts, decisions and actions.

So why do some people enjoy a more fulfilling life journey, while others miss out? Could it be as simple as the way we think? The answer is most often “yes”. We are constantly inundated with negative messages and images that promote a sense of victimization. This has become a dangerous and often silent but consistent force in our mainstream news media. This evolution of the “victimization” mentality has accelerated over the last quarter century, in large part due to the proliferation of technology in the world. It is a real and destructive force that unwittingly affects millions, preventing them from realizing their dreams…by deterring or delaying the taking of action. Ironically, it is only by “taking action” that we can transform dreams into a physical reality.

Although the perception of being a victim is a temporary illusion without substance…it does become very real when we believe it. Believing that we have limited influence over our thoughts, actions and environment will deny what we are capable of achieving. Moreover, we should avoid delays in taking action. In fact, isn’t all that we really have “now”…this very moment? When you think about it, our past and future are merely perceptions of what was or will be. It is impossible to return to the past and the future may never come… all that we have (are) is “now”. The most successful people make decisions quickly and take immediate action on those decisions. They act “now”.

Experts often share statistics or positions related to certain business opportunities (e.g. Network Marketing) which unintentionally lead readers to conclude that the sky will likely fall on them if they engage in such pursuits, opportunities that have proven unfruitful for “everyone”. Whether involving business, religion, health, or other any other topics, they tend to imply that failure is bad. Furthermore, they assume that if others have failed in pursuit of something (or thrown in the towel), you will fail too. They forgo important details of how much effort, or lack of effort, was applied by participants in their sample. Instead they present selective details that distort the reality, thereby implying that most participants shared identical outcomes. Framing data in such a way diminishes the value of individual ability and the vast potential within every human being.

For example, years ago track and field experts confidently bantered back and forth that it was unconsciable to believe that a human being would ever run a mile in under 4 minutes. However, an Englishman by the name of Roger Bannister refused to believe it when he became the first man in history to accomplish that very feat. Today, that feat is a common occurrence. Stories of accomplishing the unthinkable are abundant, and all occurred when people “believed” that they could do something others could not or would not do.

It’s unfortunate that the failure of others is consistently used as the “measuring stick” to assess the likely success or failure for others (that includes you). Such limitations instill a subliminal fear, a deadly form of dream stealing. There are two basic types of fear. One is an essential survival response while the other can prevent us from achieving what we desire. The first form of fear is a naturally wired reaction that alerts us to impending harm. For instance, if you spot a grizzly bear charging down the hillside in your direction, this innate fear will instantly alert you to run for your life. It is an unconscious instruction. However, the second type of fear is “inauthentic”. It manifests from an interpretation of past experiences, observation and education. For instance, if you want to start a business, or you are about to speak in front of a large audience, you might experience this form of fear. This consciously contrived fear is responsible for many people’s inability to advance or achieve their dreams.

If not properly filtered, much of what we see and hear can threaten our fulfillment in life. Imagine how you might perceive the world if you were not bombarded with so many negative messages. Would you think much differently? As it is, most of us never notice the chronic “monkey clatter” racing through our minds every waking moment of every day. Most of us (Americans) hop out of bed when we wake and then onto the hamster wheel of life until we return to bed at night.

Here’s an interesting statistic. Quantum scientists estimate that human beings experience 60,000 thoughts (monkey clatter) every single day. Those thoughts transfer real energy that can be measured in frequency waves. Imagine what might happen if we could replace all the negative thoughts (energy) with positive thoughts (energy). How happier or healthier do you think you would be? Do you think new relationships might form to also open new doors of opportunity? What’s more, this is something each of us can control. Although it may not occur overnight, we can control the negative “monkey clatter” using a number of methods. Perhaps the simplest and most effective of which is to identify a “flash” thought of a positive or happy experience. When you find negative or undesirable thoughts racing back and forth in your mind, you can immediately replace it with your “flash” thought. This works.

The notion that we are all victims is a broad distortion of truth which impedes our ability to achieve and receive more. When we give credence to the notion that we are victims of the environment, people or events, we essentially give up our dreams…and any faith in ourselves. Granted, the only thing we control is us. However, we can and do influence everything and everyone around us. If we want more, we must develop the belief that we can and will have it. I believe someone “in the know” said, “Whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.”

Understand that with every failure we move closer to success. As a matter of fact, those who fail most and suffer the greatest hardships generally find the greatest rewards in life. So why is it that when pundits, scholars, experts, etc., shine the spotlight on failure we immediately discount the many who have found tremendous success traveling the path on which others failed? Why is it that people are so quick to accept why something won’t work…rather than how it will work?

The fact is that not “everyone” will succeed for the same reasons, and not everyone will fail for the same reasons. This assumption is often the basis of the argument against many non-traditional types of business opportunities. The fact is, not all such opportunities are the same. As an example, not all golf clubs were manufactured with the same in purpose, design or quality. If you’re a golfer you know that a 3-iron is designed to send a golf ball further than a seven iron. However, assuming that everyone will hit a golf ball farther with a 3-iron than a seven iron would be a mistake. There are many amateur golfers who can hit a seven iron better and farther than the 3-iron. For advanced players, some may consistently hit a golf ball farther using the same club, but they lack the skills to score under 80. Furthermore, if a basketball team played 25 games and lost 12 would they consider it a losing or winning season? Most would consider it a winning season, but the players may not feel the same if their previous season record was 20-5. It’s all relative to how we reference and interpret information.

There are thousands of ordinary people who have created six-figure annual incomes or became millionaires through non-traditional routes (such as network marketing). Yet, naysayers continue to draw attention to those who did not succeed. Again, why do we assume that everyone should or will succeed in whatever they pursue? An interesting principle relating to this was discovered by a famous Italian economist named Vilfredo Pareto. He created a mathematical formula to describe the unequal distribution of wealth in his country, observing that twenty percent of the people owned eighty percent of the wealth. His discovery forever altered the way in which many large corporations look at business. Pareto’s findings revealed that 20 percent of all activity produces 80 percent of results or output. In the same study, it was determined that 20% of individuals or groups are responsible for 80% of the results. This 80/20 phenomenon is now known as the “Pareto Principle”, and it applies to virtually every aspect of life. It was discovered a century ago (1906), so why are we still living with the misconception that everyone must succeed in order for something to be worthy or have merit? As Mark Twain commented long ago, “When you find yourself following the mojority, it’s time to pause and reflect”.

For your sake and the sake of those you care about, pay little attention to the subliminal “victimization” messages cluttering the blessings of life. Pursue what you believe you can achieve. Enjoy your entire journey because the destination may not arrive exactly as, or as quickly, as you had imagined. In the end you are always free to manifest your personal happiness and to share it with others.

Thanks for spending time and to all Your Happiness!

Mindset is the sum total of your beliefs, values, identity, expectations, attitudes, habits, decisions, opinions and thought patterns… about yourself, others and how life works. It is the filter through which you interpret what you see and experience.

One’s mindset shapes life and draws results that are an exact reflection of it. What one believes will happen, happens.

Thoughts are powerful magnets. Whatever our mindset tells us, that’s what we attract, whether or not we’re even aware of what our mindset is! Suppose that you have the belief that “Life is very hard and you have to struggle just to keep up,” you don’t have to be aware of that belief in order to experience struggle. If fact, if you want to see what your mindset really is, you have only to look at your life and your results. The Bible tells us, “According to your beliefs it shall be done unto you.”

When we don’t examine our mindset and question whether it supports us or limit us, we are operating “on automatic.” We are no longer choosing our beliefs and mindset, but they nevertheless cause us to live a certain way. We create our own mindset, but at some point, our mindset creates us. If we don’t question a belief that “life is hard,” for instance, we are going to keep struggling without even knowing why.

What is your mindset? Whatever you “think” about must eventually come about. How may you be limiting your results?

CREATOR> Energy, Mind, Thought and manifestation

We must “be” before we can “do,” and we can “do” only to the extent which we “are,” and what we “are” depends upon what we think.

The Universal mind is static or potential energy; it can manifest only through the individual, and the individual can manifest only through the Universal. They are one.

Mind is static energy, thought is dynamic energy – the two phases of the same thing. Thought is therefore, the vibratory force formed by converting static mind into dynamic mind.

When the individual thinks, the thought is compelled by its nature to embody itself in an objectivity or condition which will correspond to its origin.

The Universal mind is the life principle of every atom in existence; every atom continually striving to manifest more life; all are intelligent, and all are seeking to carry out the purpose for which they were created.

All growth is from within. This is evident in all nature. Every plant, every animal, every human is a living testimony to this great law, and the error of the ages is looking for strength or power from within.

Harmonious and desirable conditions are created from right thinking.
Two modes of mental activity…Conscious and subconscious.

“Conscious mind is reasoning will. Subconscious mind is the instinctive desire, the result of past reasoning will.”

The subconscious mind never sleeps, never rests, any more than does your heart, or your blood. It has been found that by plainly stating to the subconscious mind certain specific things to be accomplished, forces are set in operation that lead to the desired result. The subconscious mind is the seat of our principles and our aspirations.

The subconscious mind cannot argue; it only acts. It accepts the conclusions of the objective mind as final.

“Cause and effect is an absolute and undeviating in the hidden realm of thought as in the world of visible and material things.” Mind is the master weaver, both of the interior garment of character and the outer garment of circumstance.”
- James Allen

Thought is creative energy, and it will automatically correlate with its object and bring it into manifestation.

Sympathetic system has its center in a ganglionic mass at back of stomach…AKA Solar Plexus

The Solar Plexus is the point at which the part meets the whole, where the finite becomes Infinite, where the uncreate becomes create, the Universal becomes individualized, the Invisible becomes visible. It is the point at which life appears and there is no limit to the amount of life an individual may generate from this Solar center.

Non-resistant thought expand the Solar Plexus; resistant thought contracts it. Pleasant thought expands it; unpleasant thought contracts it. Thoughts of courage, power, confidence, and hope all produce a corresponding state, but the one arch enemy of the Solar Plexus is FEAR! This enemy must be completely destroyed; it must be eliminated; it must be expelled forever or you will encounter perpetual gloom. It is THIS personal Devil which makes men FEAR the past, the present and the future; fear themselves, their friends and their enemies; fear everything and everybody. When FEAR is completely destroyed your light will shine, the clouds will disperse and you will have found the source of power, energy, and life.

The man who knows that he has a Solar Plexus will not fear criticism or anything else, he will be too busy radiating courage, confidence, and power; he will anticipate success by his mental attitude; he will pound barriers to pieces, and leap over the chasm of doubt and hesitation which fear places in his path.

The creative principle of the Universe is the Universal Mind.

Thought is energy and energy is power, and it is because all the religions, sciences and philosophies with which the world has heretofore known have been based upon manifestation of this energy instead of the energy itself, that the world has been limited to effects, while causes have been ignored or misunderstood.

For this reason we have GOD and Devil in religion, positive and negative in science, and good and bad in philosophy.

A trained mind knows that every transaction must benefit every person who is in any way connected with the transaction, and any attempt to profit by the weakness or ignorance of another will inevitably operate to his disadvantage.

When you have learned to control yourself you will have found the “world within” which controls the world without’ you will have become irresistible; men and things will respond to your every wish without any apparent effort on your part.

This is not so strange or impossible as it may appear when you remember that the world within is controlled by the “I” and that this “I” is a part or the one with the Infinite “I” which is the Universal Energy or Spirit. Usually called GOD.

“Amid all the mysteries by which we are surrounded, nothing is more certain than that we are ever in the presence of an Infinite and Eternal Energy from which all things proceed.” - Herbert Spencer

Science finds the ever present energy but religion finds the power behind this energy and locates it within man. But this is by no means a new discovery. The Bible says exactly the same thing, and the language is just as plain and convincing: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of the Living God?” Here, then is the secret of the wonderful creative power of the “world within”.

We cannot give unless we get; we cannot be helpful unless we are strong. The more we give the more we shall get; we must become a channel whereby the Universal can express activity. The Universal is designed to constantly seek the expression of itself, to be of service, and it seeks the channel whereby it can find the greatest activity, where it can do the most good, where it can be of greatest service to mankind.

Thought is a mode of motion and is carried out by the law of vibration the same as light or electricity. It is given vitality by the emotions through the law of love; it takes form expression by the law of growth; it is a product of the spiritual and creative nature.

Thought is indeed Spiritual Energy carried out by the Law of Vibration, which is given vitality through the law of Love (ie.. the Law of attraction), which takes form by the law of growth. The secret of its creative power is spiritual activity.
The secret of power is Service.

Mind in action is thought, and thought is creative and spiritual.

Matter is powerless, passive, and inert. Mind is force, energy, power. Mind shapes and controls matter. Every form which matter takes is but an expression of some pre-existing thought.

The subconscious mind can and will solve any problem for us if we know how to direct it. We can consciously use all the desirable characteristics with which we have been provided and we can repress and refuse to allow the undesirable ones to manifest.

All possession is the result of the accumulative attitude of the mind, or the money, consciousness; this is the magic wand which will enable you to receive an idea, and it will formulate plans for you to execute, and you will find as much pleasure in the execution as in the satisfaction of attainment and achievement.

“All Life and power is from within”

Aspiration, desire and harmonious relations constantly and persistently maintained will accomplish results. The greatest hindrance is erroneous and fixed ideas.

Thought is mind in motion just as wind is air in motion, and its effect will depend entirely on the “mechanism to which it is attached”. We are accustomed to examining the mechanism of the implements we use for tilling soil, and we try to understand the mechanism of the automobile which we drive, but most of us are content to remain in absolute ignorance of the greatest piece of mechanism which has ever come into existence…the brain of man.

There is a great mental world in which we live and move and have our being. This world is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent; it will respond to our desire in direct ratio to our purpose and faith. The purpose must be in accordance with the law of our being, that is, it must be creative or constructive. Our faith must be strong enough to generate a current of sufficient strength to bring our purpose into manifestation. “As thy Faith is, so be it unto thee,” bears the stamp of scientific test.

THE EFFECTS WHICH ARE PRODUCED IN THE WORLD WITHOUT ARE THE RESULT OF THE ACTION AND REACTION OF THE INDIVIDUAL UPON THE UNIVERSAL; THAT IS THE PROCESS WHICH WE CALL THINKING. THE BRAIN IS THE ORGAN THROUGH WHICH THIS PROCESS IS ACCOMPLISHED. THISNK OF THE WONDER OF IT ALL!
DO YOU LOVE MUSIC, FLOWERS, MOUNTAINS, DESIGN, LITERATURE, ART, OR ARE YOU INSPIRED BY THE THOUGHT OF ANCIENT OR MODERN GENIUS? REMEMBER, EVERY BEAUTY TO WHICH YOU RESPOND MUST HAVE ITS CORRESPONDING OUTLINE IN YOUR BRAIN BEFORE YOU CAN APPRECIATE IT.

The nervous system, the spinal cord, blood plunging through veins and arteries renewing energy and strength, the perfectly arranged skeletal structure upon which the entire body rests, the delicate and beautiful skin which wraps our full mechanism in beauty is the “Temple of the Living God.” The individual “I” is given control upon his understanding of the mechanism which is within his control to effect results. Every thought sets the brain cells in action. If thought is sufficiently refined and concentrated, the substance will yield and express perfectly.

The man who looks within instead of without cannot fail to make use of the mighty forces which will eventually determine his course in life and so bring him into vibration with all that is best, strongest and most desirable.

The power of attention is like the magnifying glass in which the rays of sunlight are focused. When the glass is held consistently in position and still, the effect will become immediately apparent.

“That a man can change himself, improve himself, re-create himself, control his environment, and master his own destiny is the conclusion of every mind who is wide-awake to the power of right thought in constructive actions”. – Larson

Through all the ages man has believed in an invisible power, through which and by which all things have been created and are continually being recreated. We may personalize the power and call it God, or we may think of it as the essence or the spirit, which permeates all things, but in either case the effect is the same.

Visualization is the process of making mental images, and the image is the mold or model which will serve as a pattern from which your future will emerge.

Draw on the Infinite for your supply, construct it in your imagination; it will have to be there before it will ever appear anywhere else. Make the image clear and clean-cut, hold it firmly in the mind and you will gradually and constantly bring the thing nearer to you. You can be what “you will to be.”

Picture what you desire in your mind as though the image is real and completed. Like the architect, imagine the precise details of what it is that you desire. Picture whatever it is as yours now. At first, the details may be unclear but with continued idealization the image will become clearer. If you consciously visualize the details of what you want as real and in form, you will develop Faith, the kind of faith that is the “substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” You will develop the power of concentration which will enable you to exclude all thoughts except the ones which are associated with your purpose.

Build it firmly and securely in your mental world, the world within, before it can take form in the world without. Make your pictures clear, distinct, perfect. Hold them firmly. The ways and means will develop. Supply will follow demand. You will be led to do the right thing in the right way. Earnest desire will bring about confident expectation and this in turn must be reinforced by firm demand. These three cannot fail to bring about attainment, because the earnest desire is the FEELING , the confident Expectation is the thought, and the firm demand is the Will , and, as we have seen, feeling gives vitality to thought and the will holds it steady until the law of Growth brings it to manifestation.

Concentrate on the things you want, not what you don’t want. Think abundance; idealize the methods and plans for putting the law of abundance into operation. We must plant a seed and leave it undisturbed. What this implies is to keep an open mind, be ready to act when the time comes.

Thought contains a vital principle, because it is the creative principle of the Universe and by its nature will combine with other similar thoughts. The cultivation of the imagination leads to the development of the ideal out of which your future will emerge. Imagination is the light by which we can penetrate new worlds of thought and experience. (A builder can’t build a structure until he has first received plans from the architect, and the architect must get them from his imagination)

An ideal held steadily in mind attracts the necessary conditions for its fulfillment.

“What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

We are first to believe that our desire has already been fulfilled; its accomplishment will then follow.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen.”

The truth must be told to each generation and to every people in new and different terms, so that when the great teacher said, “Believe that ye receive and ye shall receive” or, when Paul said, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” or, when modern science says, “the Law of Attraction is the law by which thought correlates with its object,” each statement when subjected to analysis, is found to contain exactly the same truth. The only difference is in the form of presentation.

Thought reaches its loftiest activity when plunged into its own mysterious depth, when it breaks through the narrow compass of self and passes from truth to the region of eternal light, where all which is, was or ever will be, melt into one grand harmony.

You must first have the knowledge of your power, second, the courage to dare; third, the faith to do it.”

The principle which gives thought the dynamic power to correlate with its object, and therefore to master every adverse human experience, is the Law of Attraction, which is another name for Love. There is no getting away from the law of love. It is a feeling that imparts vitality to thought, feeling to desire, and desire to love. Thought impregnated with love becomes invincible.

It is the combination of THOUGHT and LOVE which forms the irresistible force, called the law of attraction. All natural laws are irresistible…the Law of gravitation, laws of electricity, or any other law with mathematical exactitude. There is no variation, it is only the channel of distribution which may be imperfect. If a bridge fails, we do not attribute the collapse to any variation in the law of gravitation. If a light fails, we do not conclude that the laws governing electricity are no longer reliable. And if the Laws of Attraction seem to be imperfectly demonstrated by an inexperienced or uninformed person, we are not to conclude that the greatest and most infallible law upon which the entire system of creation depends has been suspended. We should rather conclude a little more understanding of the law is required, for the same reason that a correct solution of a difficult math problem is not always readily and easily obtained.
